OUTSOURCING

Outsource your projects and entrust them to the multicultural and talented team at Philjohn Tech

Specialized IT outsourcing and support

As the cost and complexity of IT increases every year, every CEO, CIO, and small business owner ends up exploring the benefits of outsourcing their IT function to a third-party vendor.

Reducing the costs of operating and maintaining your own IT system and providing support to its users is of particular interest to business managers. However, businesses often turn to outsourcing for a more practical reason: better IT performance.

Outsourcing to a professional IT service provider, like Secur, means they are exposed to a higher level of technical skills and resources than doing the work themselves. After all, the outsourcing partner typically deals with issues on a daily basis that the business might face once a month. They found better  solutions  to problems and established improved procedures for managing IT processes. In short, they can accelerate the delivery of IT services.

OUTSOURCING ADVANTAGES

There are many benefits to outsourcing, including those mentioned above :

  • Improved IT performance . As previously stated, having your outsourced IT service provider constantly working on IT failure points greatly increases their ability to outperform on-site staff. Failed hard drives, network intrusions, technical implementations, user errors or corrupted systems are the order of the day for most IT support companies. For this reason, they have greater experience in handling normal and extreme conditions.
  • Improved IT management. With this experience, IT service providers have developed policies, processes and procedures that enable them to effectively manage both normal IT operations and crisis situations.
  • Better resources . Outsourced IT partners  usually have sufficient staff, hardware, software and other resources to share across multiple clients. For example, in the case of software development, the outsourced vendor has already purchased the expensive development environment,  services  and programmers required to deliver applications to its clients. Network management consultants invest in expensive network monitoring, management and support tools to provide a service shared by many clients. Their clients enjoy the results without worrying about the cost.
  • Reduced costs . Shared resources mean lower costs for customers because the service provider can recoup its investment, operating expenses, and profits across a wide range of users. This generally reduces the cost per customer compared to the expenses of the company  providing the service in-house. Companies also save on employee salaries and benefits, management oversight, training, health insurance, employment taxes, retirement plans, travel expenses, and more.
  • No skills gap . A company’s IT staff typically has a general set of skills or specializes in one or two core areas. Inevitably, the organization will need outside help for tasks in which its staff have no experience. Outsourcing to a third-party provider means there is no skills gap.
  • Mission objective. Through outsourcing, businesses can return to their core competencies and focus on achieving their strategic mission, instead of worrying about how their IT system works. They can also focus on achieving greater business value from their information, such as improved operational efficiency and insightful market analysis.
  • Improved capacity . For small businesses, hiring a dedicated employee to manage their IT system may not be an option. Outsourcing provides a valuable and cost-effective way to avoid personnel costs without sacrificing system stability and performance. Even the largest organizations may not need additional full-time professionals during busy periods and can turn to their outsourcing partner for additional capacity.
  • Flexibility . If a company  decides to restructure, merge, reduce or increase its workforce, there is no need to think about what it is going to do with the IT department. Not only will their outsourced IT provider adapt to their needs, but they will also provide technical input to manage changes to the systems.
  • Reduced risk . Outsourced IT partners  have more advanced risk and crisis management procedures, often established from extensive research and front-line experience. They can often assist their clients with risk assessment, planning and crisis processes to mitigate risks and minimize losses.
  • Strategic management . At the highest level, an outsourced IT partner can take on the management of the entire IT function. In effect, they become the CIO and CTO, providing advice and direction to business initiatives, technology planning and business process design.
